The Gentleman's Dress Code Examples

Gentlemen wear tuxedos and may substitute a white dinner jacket at the first and last dances of the season.

Examples:

This traditional peak lapel tuxedo with black bow on a standard collar with a pocket square is very elegant.

The notch lapel tuxedo looks fine with or without pocket square.
A wing collar shirt is very traditional and goes well with a cummerbund, as shown, or a waistcoat.

Although traditionally worn with "white tie" a tailcoat may be substituted for the tuxedo jacket.
A white dinner jacket may be worn for the first and last balls of the season.

Military "mess dress" is always welcome.
